Here are seven highlights:
1. The list honors those physicians who have received great peer recognition or demonstrated professional achievement.
2. To receive the honor, physicians are rated based on: years of experience; hospital appointments; fellowships; professional activities; leadership positions; academic achievements and positions; board certifications; publications; lectures; and presentations, honors and awards.
4. Dr. Datta has received this honor for four consecutive years.
5. He founded New York City-based Datta Endoscopic Back Surgery and Pain Center, where he serves as medical director.
6. Dr. Datta also serves as a professional lecturer at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City.
7. He served as secretary and a member of the board of directors of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. Dr. Datta was also a member of the American Society of Anesthesiology’s Pain Medicine Committee.
