Dr. Reginald Davis joins Laser Spine Institute — 7 things to know

Here are seven things to know:

 

1. Dr. Davis will serve patients at all seven Laser Spine Institute locations across the United States.

 

2. He is board-certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery and American Board of Spine Surgery.

 

3. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Davis conducts research and will contribute to the Laser Spine Institute new product development and help facilitate research for the organization.

 

4. Dr. Davis trained with Laser Spine Institute’s Michael C. Weiss, DO, chairman of the department of surgery. All surgeons must undergo an internal fellowship before joining the practice.

 

5. Dr. Davis previously held an honorary faculty appointment at The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and was a clinical instructor for the University of Maryland.

 

6. He was among the first in the United States to use dynamic stabilization for the lumbar spine through implanting posteriorly placed devices.

 

7. Dr. Davis completed his medical degree at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and his residency and fellowship at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and Medical Institution.
