Dr. Nitin Khanna, Franciscan Health to study treatment for lumbar spinal stenosis

Spine surgeon Nitin Khanna, MD, and Franciscan Health are participating in a national study on the long-term prognosis for patients who undergo micro decompression surgery to treat lumbar spinal stenosis, according to local radio station WIMS AM.

1. A published research author, Dr. Khanna was selected as a co-investigator in the multicenter study.

2. He will analyze decompression surgery patients’ outcomes over the next five years.
