Muhammad Abd-El-Barr, MD, PhD, recently entered the role of president of the North Carolina Spine Society, according to a post on his LinkedIn page.
Dr. Abd-El-Barr is a neurosurgeon at Duke Health, where he specializes in treating spine disorders including spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis, scoliosis, herniated discs and spine tumors.
In addition, Dr. Abd-El-Barr is a professor of neurosurgery at Duke University Health System.
