Dr. Michael Fromke joins FirstHealth Neurosurgery — 5 highlights

Pinehurst, N.C.-based FirstHealth Neurosurgery welcomed board-certified neurosurgeon Michael D. Fromke, MD, to its team.

Here are five highlights:

 

1. Dr. Fromke will join Cynthia Z. Africk, MD, whom he worked with at Dayton, Ohio-based Clinical Neurosciences Institute, and Dennis M. Campbell, MD.

 

2. The neurosurgery practice treats diseases and disorders of the brain, spinal cord, spinal column and peripheral nerves.

 

3. Dr. Fromke specializes in general neurosurgery, complex spine surgeries and stroke treatment.

 

4. He previously served as Tennessee Neurosurgical Society’s president.

 

5. After earning his medical degree from University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis, Dr. Fromke completed his general surgery internship and neurosurgery residency at the same institution.
