Dr. Devin Datta speaks at Brevard County Medical Society dinner — 5 key notes

Spine surgeon and President of the Brevard County Medical Society Devin Datta, MD, participated in a meeting with several local business leaders and political candidates, according to a Space Coast Daily report.

Dr. Datta presented on BMS’s rich history and the advantages of membership. Here are five things to know about Dr. Datta:

 

1. He practices at The B.A.C.K. Center in Melbourne, Fla.

 

2. His previous experience includes time as the chairman of the department of orthopedic surgery at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne.

 

3. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Datta has served as a consultant to Medtronic and a diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

 

4. His research focuses on several aspects of spine, including investigating new spine systems and fusion.

 

5. Dr. Datta earned his medical degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas. He underwent a fellowship at Harvard University and Beth Israel Hospital.
