The spine surgeon developed BoneCoder10 from SuperCoder, which is an ICD-10-CM workflow solution designed for physicians, coders and nurses to transition to ICD-10 coding. The solution organizes codes to classify diagnoses, making it easier for providers to learn without extensive training.
The solution was introduced at the AAOS 2015 Annual Meeting and includes:
• Each code’s Excludes 1
• Code First
• Code Additional requirements
The system marks illegal code combinations and can integrate with electronic health records, practice management systems and billing systems. There is also a multispecialty PC version with codes for orthopedics, neurosurgery, physical therapy and emergency medicine.
