Bradenton, Fla.-based Coastal Orthopedics has added Vincent Federico, MD, to its team of spine specialists.
Dr. Federico is an orthopedic spine surgeon specializing in ultra-minimally invasive, motion-preserving and same-day spine surgery, according to an Oct. 5 news release from Coastal Orthopedics.
He treats spine conditions, including sciatica, disc herniations, spinal stenosis, radiculopathy, myelopathy, degenerative disc disease, spondylolisthesis, osteoporotic compression fractures and failed prior spine surgery.
Dr. Federico completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush in Chicago and received additional fellowship training in orthopedic and neurosurgical techniques at the Rothman Orthopaedic Institute in Philadelphia.
In addition, Dr. Federico has previously served as an assisting team physician for the Chicago Bulls, Chicago White Sox, Chicago Fire and Philadelphia Phillies, the release said.
