Carlsmed launched its aprevo platform for cervical spinal fusion, the company said Dec. 3.
The aprevo cervical interbody system combines AI-driven preoperative planning with 3D printing for customized implants, according to a news release. This builds on Carlsmed’s existing aprevo portfolio for lumbar spinal fusion.
The aprevo implant earned CMS’ New Technology Add-On Payment for cervical spine in August, and the technology was used for its first cervical spine procedure in July.
