1. The BHS/HVHS Multispecialty Group’s joint venture will be called PA Brain & Spine Institute.
2. Michael Horowitz, MD, and Richard Spiro, MD, will head the new neurosurgery institute.
3. Both physicians worked for the Butler Health System since 2013, but now offer services to patients in the Heritage Valley Health System.
4. The PA Brain & Spine Institute will offer services for aneurysms, brain tumors, carotid disease and hemifacial spasm among other conditions.
