4 hospitals/health systems expanding spine programs — June 17, 2016

Here are four hospitals/health systems with recently expanded spine and neurosurgery programs.

UConn John Dempsey Hospital in Farmington, Conn., opened a new operating suite, which included two operating rooms for neurosurgery and spine surgery.

 

Maryland-based American Spine added an office in Germantown, Md.

 

Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins teamed up neurosurgery and biomedical engineering to form the Carnegie Center for Surgical Innovation.

 

John Hulbert, MD, plans to start a new spine program at the University of Arizona in Tucson.
