Spine Surgeon Leader to Know: Dr. Wade Jensen of CNOS

Wade K. Jensen, MD, is an orthopedic spine surgeon at CNOS in Dakota Dunes, S.D. He is also the chairman of surgery at Mercy Medical Center Sioux City (Iowa) and director of the spine division at Siouxland Surgery Center in Dakota Dunes. He also provides services through Specialty Clinic at Cherokee (S.D.) Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Jensen is a member of the South Dakota State Medical Association, Iowa Orthopaedic Society and North American Spine Society. He is also a fellow of the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Dr. Jensen is board-certified and he focuses on the cervical and lumbar spine as well as complex spinal surgeries. His clinical interests include cervical herniated discs, cervical spine disorders and lumbar degenerative disc disease.

Dr. Jensen earned his medical degree at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, and he completed his residency at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He has also completed a combined neurosurgical and orthopedic spine fellowship at the University of Utah Hospitals in Salt Lake City.
