Dr. Wright is a professor of neurological and orthopedic surgery and the co-director of the neurosurgical spine fellowship at the medical school. He is affiliated with St. Louis-based BJC HealthCare. Dr. Wright focuses on cervical spine disorders and has performed over 2,000 cervical spine surgeries.
Dr. Wright received his medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He underwent fellowship training at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Institute for Spinal Disorders in Los Angeles and completed neurological surgery fellowship training at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
He developed the C2 laminar fixation technique used to treat atlantoaxial instability and is a leading expert on the use of synthetic bone in cervical spine procedures.
