Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Mark Valente of the DISC Spine Institute

Mark Valente, DO, is a spine surgeon at the DISC Spine Institute of Plano, Texas.

His career began after he earned his degree in osteopathic medicine at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He completed an internship and a residency at Farmington Hills, Mich.-based Botsford Hospital. His fellowship was completed at UC San Diego.

Dr. Valente is a renowned researcher and has several bylines to his name.
