Dr. Valente subspecializes in minimally invasive procedures and is the founder and medical director of the DISC Spine Institute.
Dr. Valente was ranked No. 3 among all orthopedic surgeons sitting for oral board examination.
His career began after he earned his degree in osteopathic medicine at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He completed an internship and a residency at Farmington Hills, Mich.-based Botsford Hospital. His fellowship was completed at UC San Diego.
Dr. Valente is a renowned researcher and has several bylines to his name.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Valente is a world traveler and an avid reader.
