Dr. Hopkins is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and New Jersey Orthopaedic Society. He has practiced general orthopedics for 17 years with a special focus on joint replacements, sports medicine and spine surgery. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is also a graduate of the Wharton School Physicians Leadership Program at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
Dr. Hopkins earned his medical degree at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore. He completed his residency at The Medical College of Virginia in Richmond as well as a spine surgery fellowship at the New England Baptist Hospital in Boston. He completed his JD at Duke University School of Law in Durham, N.C.
