He is a diplomat for the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and a fellow of American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
He has presented on minimally invasive lumbar disc surgery and playing sports following cervical spine surgeries, among many other topics.
After receiving his medical degree from University of California School of Medicine in San Francisco, Dr. Rappaport completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of California San Francisco. He then completed a spinal surgery fellowship at Texas Institute for Spinal Disorders and a spinal surgery fellowship at London Clinic in England.
