Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. David Gendelberg of Rutgers University

David Gendelberg, MD, is a spine surgeon and clinical instructor in the department of orthopedics at University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle.

Dr. Gendelberg specializes in degenerative spine conditions, disc herniations, spinal trauma and deformity.

He graduated from Rutgers University – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, N.J.

Following medical school, he completed an orthopedic residency at Penn State Hershey (Pa.) Medical Center, where he was chosen by his peers to be an AOA emerging leader.

Dr. Gendelberg completed a fellowship in spinal surgery at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
