Mohamad Bydon, MD, is Chairman of Neurosurgery at University of Chicago Medicine and a nationally recognized leader in both clinical neurosurgery and spine surgery outcomes research. He is the principal investigator on several federally funded research projects and has been a leading contributor to national spine surgery registries and quality improvement initiatives. Dr. Bydon has authored more than 300 peer-reviewed publications and has been recognized for excellence in spine outcomes data science and patient-centered research. A board-certified neurosurgeon, he received his medical training at Mayo Clinic and completed his neurosurgery residency and fellowship there as well.
