Brian Subach, MD, a spinal neurosurgeon at National Spine & Pain Centers in Rockville, Md., said he likes seeing his patients' faces after realizing their pain is gone.
He joined the center in March with more than 20 years of experience. He received his medical degree from the University of Michigan School of Medicine in Ann Arbor and completed his residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pennsylvania.
He performs a variety of procedures including minimally invasive cervical and lumbar spine surgery, robotic surgery and artificial disc surgery. Dr. Subach said he prefers a conservative approach to treatment and doesn't believe every patient needs surgery.
