Zimmer’s New Hip Stem Available in US

Zimmer has announced the availability of its CLS Brevius Hip Stem with Kinectiv Technology in the United States, according to a Zimmer news release.

The technology allows surgeons to more accurately match patients’ individual anatomies with modular neck options designed for independent, intraoperative adjustments. The stem is also shorter than conventional stems, which provides greater bone preservation than the company’s original CLS Spotorno Stem.
