Zimmer’s Vivacit-E Advanced Bearing Technology reaches wear rate testing milestone

Zimmer’s Vivacit-E Advanced Bearing Technology featuring Vitamin E maintained a wear rate reduction of 95 percent over 96 million cycles of in vitro wear testing, according to a paper published earlier this month.

Zimmer’s Vivacit-E Vitamin E Technology, intended for use during total hip replacements, has been tested to mimic the number of walking steps an implant will typically be subjected to during its lifetime.
