Zimmer Pulls Metal-on-Metal Hip Device From Australia

Zimmer has pulled its Duron Acetabular metal-on-metal hip device from the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods, according to a Mass Device report.

The orthopedic device company pulled the product after evidence showed higher revision rates at five and seven years compared to rival products.
