Zimmer’s reconstructive business line brought in $843 million in net sales for the second quarter, down 2 percent from the same quarter last year, while the company’s trauma business brought in $74 million, up 7 percent from the same quarter last year. Zimmer’s spine business also took a hit, reporting $52 million, down 7 percent from the same quarter in 2011.
