The company’s net sales increased by 4.8 percent, from $1.03 billion in 2012 to $1.07 billion this year. However, increased operating costs offset the increased sales.
Spine device sales decreased slightly in this year’s third quarter, down 3.6 percent from last year. Major gains were made in knee devices, for which sales were up 5.6 percent.
