Non-executive chair Chris Begley plans to retire from the board on May 29, and Michael Farrell will become lead independent director. Mr. Begley has been a member of the board since 2012 and took his first leadership role in 2021.
Mr. Farrell joined Zimmer Biomet’s board in 2014 and is currently chair of the compensation and management development committee.
Ivan Tornos, Zimmer Biomet’s president and CEO, will become chair of the board.
