Xtant Medical receives CE mark for 2 products: 4 points

Belgrade, Mont.-based Xtant Medical received CE clearance for its Aranax Cervical Plating System and Irix-A stand alone anterior lumbar fusion device.

Here are four points:

 

1. Aranax is a pre-sterilized implant.

 

2. Irix-A includes an integrated titanium ring surrounded by a PEEK shell.

 

3. Xtant Medical presented the products at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons meeting in Orlando, Fla.

 

4. “This will allow us to expand our distribution presence and better serve the surgical needs of our customers internationally,” said David Kirschman, MD, executive vice president and chief scientific officer, Xtant Medical.
