Xtant Medical names new COO: 4 things to know

Xtant Medical appointed Ronald Berlin as vice president and COO, effective Jan. 1.

Four things to know:

1. Mr. Berlin brings more than 35 years of operations experience to Xtant Medical.

2. Most recently, he served as vice president of global operations for medical device manufacturer CoorsTek Medical.

3. Mr. Berlin has also held positions at Integra LifeSciences as vice president of global strategic sourcing and procurement as well vice president of operations.

4. “In addition to the operational leadership [Mr. Berlin] will provide to the organization, he is a strong strategic, cross-functional leader,” Xtant Medical Interim CEO Michael Mainelli said. “[Mr. Berlin’s] appointment continues our commitment to building a highly skilled management team.”
