Xstim earns FDA nod for spinal fusion stimulator

Xstim earned FDA premarket application approval for its spine fusion stimulator, the company said April 16.

The Xstim device uses a low-energy signal to promote bone healing after spinal fusions, according to a news release. It is noninvasive and designed to streamline patient therapy management.

The device is expected to hit the market in the second quarter.
