X-Spine Receives FDA Clearance for Interspinous Fusion System

X-spine has received FDA clearance for its AXLE-PEEK Interspinous Fusion System for the treatment of degenerative disc disease, according to a company news release.

The system is part of X-spine’s AXLE line of interspinous fusion devices and includes PEEK-OPTIMA from Invibio Biomaterial Solutions. The implants can be placed through a small incision and surgeons can choose either polymer or titanium implants.
