Wright Medical Group to Buy BioMimetic for About $380M

Medical device manufacturer Wright Medical Group has agreed to purchase BioMimetic Therapeutics for up to $380 million, according to Memphis Business Journal.

Wright Medical will pay $190 million in cash and stock for BioMimetic, which produces regenerative medicine products for bone and tissue repair. Contingent payments of up to $190 million may be made, pending FDA approval of a new BioMimetic product.
