Wright Medical Group Slapped With Subpoena for Hip Device Documents

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Tennessee issued a subpoena for all documents related to Wright Medical Group’s Profemur line of hip devices, according to a Wall Street Journal report.

The subpoena calls for documents dating from Jan. 1, 2000, to Aug. 2, 2012. The company stated the subpoena is not related to allegations of wrongdoing or patient safety concerns and it is cooperating with the government to provide the requested documentation.
