Wright Medical Group Reports 4Q Net Sales of $138.3M, 6% Increase

Wright Medical Group recently reported net sales of $138.3 million during the fourth quarter of 2010, a 6 percent increase over the fourth quarter net sales of 2009, according to a company news release.

The company attributes its success to the launch of the EVOLUTION medial-pivot knee system. The international revenues were also strong.

The company’s hip products accounted for $46.269 million, a 3.2 percent increase over last year. The knee products represented $35.112 million, an 11.6 percent growth over last year. Extremity products represented the largest growth, 14.8 percent over last year, and accounted for $34.752 million of the company’s sales.

The biologic products accounted for $19.935 million, representing a 2.5 percent increase over the fourth quarter of 2009.
