VySpine’s cervical IBF system earns FDA nod

VySpine’s UniVy OsteoVy-Ti NanoVy-HA cervical IBF system earned FDA 510(k) clearance, the devicemaker said April 25.

The system is indicated for siingle-level intervertebral body fusion to treat degenerative disc disease, according to a news release. Its NanoVy-HA is thinner than traditional coatings at 20 nanometers, and the device is designed for enhanced bone integration.

UniVy OsteoVy-Ti NanoVy-HA comes in a variety of sizs, heights and lordotic angles.
