Here are five things to know:
1. Ms. Capps will serve on the board’s audit committee and nominating and corporate governance committee.
2. During her career, Ms. Caps served as CFO of DJO Global as well as several other private and public companies.
3. She is currently a senior advisory board member of Consonance Capital Partners, a healthcare investment firm. She’s also on the board of Enlcara Pharmacia.
4. Ms. Capps was recognized in 2009 and 2010 as the CFO of the Year by the San Diego Business Journal.
5. NuVasive recently named Gregory Lucier CEO, focusing on scaling NuVasive’s business and effectively deploying resources for rapid international growth.
