The implant design has been refined from the original implant with advanced engineering software, rapid three-dimensional model prototyping and in-house testing to provide evidence of its efficacy. The VerteLoc V2.0 system is designed to address low back pain caused by facet osteoarthritis and spinal stenosis.
The system includes precise surgical instruments to prepare the facet joint’s articular surface for the dual geometric implant. The implant is made from human allograft and was developed to limit motion in flexion/extension.
