TranS1 Releases New System for Lumbar Fusion

TranS1 launched the AxiaLIF 2L+ product line which includes instrumentation and an implant system for the L4-S1 lumbar fusion, according to a company news release.

The AxiaLIF 2L system was first launched in 2008 and this new product line is the second generation, received FDA 510(k) clearance in January. The AxiaLIF 2L+ is designed to make lumbar fusions around the L4-S1 region of the spine less invasive than other techniques.
