The top five global medical device companies include, Johnson & Johnson and Medtronic, which manufactures orthopedic and spinal devices. Other companies include Abbott Laboratories, Boston Scientific and Covidien.
According to Lucintel’s analysis, the global medical device industry is expected to reach $302 billion in 2017 with a compound annual growth rate of 6.1 percent over the next five years.
