Titan Spine Receives Research Award From Scoliosis Research Society

 
The Scoliosis Research Society has granted medical device company Titan Spine the Whitecloud Award for Best Basic Science Research.

The award recognized Titan Spine’s research paper “Implant Materials Generate Different Peri-Implant Inflammatory Factors: PEEK Promotes Fibrosis and Micro-Textured Titanium Promotes Osteogenic Factors.”

 

The paper was presented by Titan Spine CMO Paul Slosar, MD, of Spine Care Medical Group in San Francisco.

 

The study served to compare the company’s Endoskeleton Interbody Devices to devices made from PEEK.
