Titan Spine Awarded Patent

Titan Spine, a medical device surface technology company focused on the development of spinal interbody fusion implants, has been awarded a U.S. patent that covers both solid metal and composite implant construction that consist of a combination of metal and polymer materials, such as polyetheretherketone.

“In addition to protecting our proprietary nanoFIX Surface Technology, we are also defending our other areas of expertise, including implant construction, surgical methods, manufacturing processes and others,” said CEO Peter Ullrich.

Thus far, 18 patents have been issued or are currently pending for Titan Spine.
