Teleflex Unit to Relocate to New Facility in North Carolina, Will Create 75 Jobs

A unit of Limerick, Pa.-based Teleflex, a medical device company, will be relocating from Research Triangle Park, near Durham, N.C., to a new facility in Morrisville, N.C., according to a WRAL Tech Wire report.

Teleflex plans to create 75 new jobs at the new facility within three years. The company currently employs 442 in the Research Triangle Park. The new jobs will be mostly professional and technology positions, and the North Carolina Department of Commerce projects that the new jobs will bring in an additional $5.4 million in payroll to the state annually, according to the report.
