The two-room VISIUS Surgical Theatre at the hospital features a high-field magnetic resonance that travels to the patient using ceiling-mounted rails.

The first case completed using the MRI was a right parietal high-grade glioma — a type of brain tumor.

IMRIS is a provider of image-guided therapy solutions through its VISIUS Surgical Theatre. The VISIUS Surgical Theatres serves the neurosurgical, spinal, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular markets.
