Symmetry Medical Reports Q1 Revenue of $95.8 million, 13% Increase

Symmetry Medical, a Warsaw, Ind.-based medical device company, recently reported first quarter revenue of $95.8 million, which is a 13 percent increase over the first quarter of last year, according to a company news release.

The company attributes its success to an increase in customer shipments of its instruments and cases business. The company’s instrument business contributed $39.2 million to the overall net revenue, which represents a 24 percent increase over last year.

The company also reported revenue from its implant business as $27.2 million, a four percent decrease over last year.
