The BOOKWALTER Retractor System was included as part of Symmetry’s acquisition of the Codman & Shurtleff instrument portfolio. The enhancement is designed to reduce the overall tray weight of the complete product table mounted retractor system while also increasing usability.

The company also introduced reusable radiolucent blades for procedures where intraoperative X-ray is used during surgical intervention.
