The orthopedic repair market is projected “to be a $2 billion market opportunity, with 1.5 million annual orthopedic and spinal repair procedures using biologic materials,” Aziyo President and CEO Ron Lloyd said in a Nov. 17 news release.

Surgalign strengthened its presence in the spine market in October after it acquired Holo Surgical, which is developing an augmented reality surgical navigation system.
