The company is continuing its layoffs at the Lakeland facility, which will affect abut 530 employees, according to the April 19 notice. The facility is expected to close by December 31.
Layoffs began in December, the notice said. As of April 19, about 213 positions were laid off.
Stryker plans to lay off one more position May 15 and four more on June 30, according to the notice.
Stryker didn’t immediately respond to a May 11 request for comment from Becker’s.
