Stryker, Synaptive Medical strike marketing deal to expand robotic device

Synaptive Medical signed a co-marketing collaboration with Stryker’s advanced guidance technologies business to expand access to its Modus V device.

Three insights:

1. Modus V is a robotically controlled digital microscope that assist spine surgeons in complex procedures using minimally invasive techniques.

2. The device’s robotic arm moves based on positions of tracked instruments, allowing surgeons to operate freely without having to adjust the microscope.

3. It also features automatic lighting and hands-free focal depth control, offering unobstructed views during key points in surgery.
