Stryker President & CEO Stephen MacMillan Resigns Post

Chairman, President and CEO of Stryker Stephen P. MacMillan, has resigned his post for family reasons, effective immediately, according to a company news release.

Curt Hartman, vice president and CFO of the company, has been named interim CEO, and William U. Parfet, lead independent director, will fill the role of non-executive chairman. The company has launched a search for Mr. MacMillan’s permanent successor.

Mr. MacMillian served as a leader of the company for the past nine years.
