1. Previously Ms. Brainerd served as president and CEO of HealthPartners, a nonprofit healthcare organization. She retired from HealthPartners on June 1, 2017 after 15 years at the helm. Ms. Brainerd also spent eight years with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota before joining HealthPartners in 1992.
