Monterey AL is a standalone interbody fusion product made of solid and porous structures, according to a news release. The device allows surgeons to make deeper and narrower cage footprints and uses “tritanium” — a novel 3D-printed, porous titanium material designed by the company for bone in-growth.

“Monterey AL combines more than 20 years of expertise in the creation of porous materials using additive manufacturing with innovative implants and instruments that are designed to give surgeons the flexibility to use our system without having to alter their preferred technique,” Robbie Robinson, president of Stryker’s  spine division, said in the release.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
